Father's Sunday, 6/07/2020 Message

The past couple of Sundays I have encouraged you to read certain paragraphs of the Catechism of the Catholic Church to be able to go deeper into what the Solemnity of the Day is about.  I will do that today also, and the paragraphs are 232-260.  If it wasn’t so necessary for us to know about God, and, our Faith, then Jesus would not have come to reveal it to us.  It really is as simple a fact as that!  So, when we hear that something is a Mystery, rather than give up, because, we think that it is unknowable, let us rather seek to dive in, and, plumb the treasure that is to be discovered. 

After all, it is God Himself, true love that we will find.  Just a reminder that due to the weak WiFi connection in the hall where Mass is being celebrated at 9:00 AM with up to 50 people, it will be recorded and posted to You Tube and Facebook afterwards.  Also, a reminder that for those who do not attend Mass at 9, I will be on my kitchen porch to give Holy Communion from 11:00 to 11:30 this morning.
