Father's Sunday, 5/24/2020 Message

We have come to the 7th and last Sunday of Easter.  As is often the case when something comes to a conclusion, we reflect back on things, while anticipating what awaits us.  The readings today, especially the first, and the Gospel, show us how this reflecting, and anticipating is done in the life of a person of faith, it is called “prayer.”  

May I suggest if you have a chance today to look at the 4th section of the Catechism of the Catholic Church which is devoted entirely to prayer, in order to learn how to immerse yourself in this beautiful treasure from God.
