When President's Pray

When we pray the General Intercessions at Mass, the 2nd one is always meant to be especially for those who are in positions of civil authority, that they may have the ability to be faithful in governing in accordance with God's Will.  And, when they pray, it should encourage us to persevere in this good work, and to thank God when it is made public.  With this thought in mind, I will post a picture of our First President George Washington kneeling in prayer at Valley Forge, and the text of the prayer offered by President Trump on Easter Sunday.  He also offered one publicly on Good Friday.
